Overview

HCA Houston Healthcare ER 24/7 (Alvin), a freestanding emergency department, is seeking a full-time Emergency Medicine physician to join our team in Alvin, Texas.

Responsibilities

• Provide emergency medical care to patients in a freestanding ED serving all types of acute injuries and illnesses.
• Work in a high-volume ED with 12-hour shifts (7-bed ED, 9,000 annual volume) and higher acuity with EMS volume.
• Collaborate with board-certified physicians and utilize on-site testing and imaging.
• Operate using the Meditech EMR and accept EMS transport; contribute to direct admission when appropriate.

Qualifications

• Must be BC/BE residency trained in Emergency Medicine.
