Job summary

SignatureCare Emergency Center in Houston is seeking an Emergency Medicine Physician to join a high-volume freestanding ED. Compensation starts at $280+ per hour or $200 base + RVU day, $230 + RVU night; full-time (12 shifts/month) can exceed $480,000 annually with profit sharing.

Physicians must be BC/BE in Emergency Medicine (ABEM or AOBEM) or MD/DO with Texas license or eligibility. Family Practice with EM experience considered case-by-case.

Emergency Medicine Physician – $280+/hr | Houston FSED | Physician-Owned

Compensation & Benefits

• Pay: Average $280+/hr at high-volume sites | Base $200 + RVU (day) | $230 + RVU (night)
• High volume defined as 30+ patients per 24 hours
• Full-time (12 shifts/month): $480,000+ annually in hourly pay — profit sharing is additional
• Profit sharing for physicians working 10+ shifts/month

• Malpractice: full coverage, including tail — no out-of-pocket costs

Shifts

• 12‑hour shifts (6am/6pm) | Full-time: 12 shifts/month | Part‑time available
• Low to moderate-acuity HCA freestanding ED — admissions transfer seamlessly to the home HCA hospital

Qualifications

• BC/BE in Emergency Medicine (ABEM or AOBEM) | MD or DO | Texas license or eligibility
• Family Practice with significant EM experience considered on a case‑by‑case basis
