Adelphi Locums is seeking a Board-Certified Emergency Medicine physician for a locum-tenens assignment in Alamo, Texas. The clinician will cover 12-hour rotating shifts in a freestanding ED, with full privileges, imaging interpretation, and on-site lab services.

Requirements include active Texas license, DEA, and EM board certification (ABEM/ABOEM or ABIM/ABFM with EM experience). Travel, lodging, and malpractice insurance are provided.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive emergency medical services in a freestanding emergency department.
• Manage trauma stabilization, observation care, and acute medical conditions.
• Interpret advanced imaging (CT, X-ray) and utilize on-site laboratory services.
• Document patient encounters in Cerner PowerNote ED with Dragon.
• Work 12-hour rotating shifts (days and nights) to ensure 24/7 coverage.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

• Experience: EM residency trained or 1+ year EM experience as MD/DO
