The Emergency Department at Montefiore Medical Center is one of the top five busiest in the United States and the most-visited in New York State. It handles approximately 275,000 visits annually from patients aged 21 and over from Westchester, Manhattan, Connecticut, and the Bronx. Our Board-Certified physicians are dedicated to providing excellent emergency services to the community.

Patients present with a wide range of ailments and injuries, from cold symptoms to heart attacks. Our cardiac services are highly advanced, offering 24/7 emergent cardiac catheterization, Arrhythmia services, Congestive Heart Failure services, and cardiac transplants.

We are also leaders in stroke care, with a specialized team available 24/7 to treat stroke candidates with thrombolysis. Collaborating with Albert Einstein’s Clinical Research Training Program, the ED has produced NIH-funded Clinical Investigators and published extensively on acute pain management.

We are seeking a Board-Certified Emergency Medicine provider to serve as Medical Director at our Moses campus in the Bronx. The candidate should have operational leadership experience and oversee a team of 32 physicians, supported by 21 PAs, 11 NPs, and over 87 RNs, LPNs, and PCTs.

We offer a competitive salary of $395,000-430,000, with bonuses and productivity incentives, along with a comprehensive benefits package including malpractice insurance, 403(b), LTD, STD, health, dental, and vision insurance, and an academic appointment at Albert Einstein College of Medicine.
