The Emergency Department at Montefiore Medical Center is one of the top five busiest in the United States, serving approximately 275,000 patients annually from Westchester, Manhattan, Connecticut, and the Bronx. Our Board-Certified physicians are dedicated to providing excellent emergency services to the community.
Our department handles a broad spectrum of ailments, from cold symptoms to heart attacks. We are leaders in cardiac and stroke services, offering 24/7 emergent cardiac catheterization, arrhythmia and congestive heart failure services, cardiac transplants, and a specialized stroke team available around the clock for thrombolysis treatment.
In collaboration with Albert Einstein's Clinical Research Training Program, our ED has produced multiple NIH-funded investigators and published extensively on acute pain management.
We are seeking a Board-Certified Emergency Medicine physician to serve as Associate Medical Director at our Moses campus in the Bronx, NY. The candidate should have operational leadership experience and be capable of managing a team of 32 physicians, supported by 21 PAs, 11 NPs, and over 87 RNs, LPNs, and PCTs.
The role offers a competitive salary of $320,000-$325,000, along with bonuses, productivity incentives, paid malpractice insurance, and an academic appointment at Albert Einstein College of Medicine.
