Brown University Health's Brown Health Medical Group Massachusetts seeks an ED Advanced Practice Provider to deliver urgent care in the Emergency Department. Under the supervision of the Medical Director, you will take histories, perform exams, order tests, and implement treatment plans for ED patients.

You will perform ED procedures, coordinate with specialists, document in EMR, and uphold HIPAA while working a dynamic schedule including days, evenings, weekends.

Competenze

• Master’s degree for PA or graduate degree for NP from accredited program.
• Minimum 1 year of experience as an Advanced Practice Provider, preferably in an emergency department setting.
• NCCPA certification, or equivalent NP national board certification.
• Current Rhode Island State Licensure.
• Current DEA and Rhode Island CSR or ability to obtain before start date.
• Must meet credentialing requirements including background release form.

Mansioni

• Obtain medical histories and perform exams in the ED.
• Order and interpret labs and imaging; develop and implement treatment plans.
• Perform ED procedures under supervision as needed.
• Document thoroughly in EMR and coordinate with consulting teams.
• Prescribe medications and manage IV therapies.
