Job summary

Brown University Health seeks an Advanced Practice Provider to deliver emergency medicine in the Emergency Department under supervision. The APP will obtain medical histories, perform physical examinations, order and interpret diagnostic tests, and develop and implement treatment plans for ED patients. All practice is under the Attending Physician and approved policies.

Required: NCCPA or NP certification, RI licensure, DEA/CSR, and at least 1 year of ED APP experience. Location: Providence, RI.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of APP experience, preferably in emergency department.

Responsibilities

• Obtain medical histories and perform physical examinations.
• Order and interpret diagnostic tests to establish diagnoses.
• Develop and implement treatment plans for ED patients.
• Perform emergency medicine procedures under supervision.
