Brown University Health is seeking an Advanced Practice Provider to join the Emergency Department in Providence, RI. Under supervision, you will obtain histories, perform exams, and develop treatment plans for ED patients.

The role requires a PA or NP with a Master’s degree, RI licensure, NCCPA or NP cert, and DEA/CSR. At least 1 year in ED preferred; 8-hour shifts, 7 days a week, on-site.

Qualifikationen

• Master’s degree for Physician Assistants.
• Graduate degree (MSN or DNP) for Nurse Practitioners.
• NCCPA certification or equivalent NP national board certification.
• Current Rhode Island State Licensure (PA/NP).
• DEA and Rhode Island CSR or ability to obtain prior to start date.
• Minimum 1 year of APP experience, preferably in an emergency department.

Aufgaben

• Obtain medical histories and perform physical examinations in the ED.
• Order and interpret diagnostic tests to establish diagnoses and plans.
• Develop and implement treatment plans for ED patients.
• Perform diagnostic and therapeutic emergency medicine procedures.
• Work under supervision of Attending Physician per policies and protocols.
