Brown University Health seeks an Advanced Practice Provider (Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner) to deliver emergency medicine in the Andrew F. Anderson Emergency Center for the Miriam Emergency Department, Newport Hospital, and Hasbro ED locations.

Responsibilities include patient histories, exams, testing, and ED procedures under attending supervision. Candidates must have an APAP or NP graduate degree, applicable state licensure, and national certification.

Competenze

• Master’s Degree in Physician Assistant Studies or graduate degree for NP
• Current NCCPA certification or NP national board certification
• Rhode Island state licensure for PA/NP
• Current DEA and Rhode Island CSR or ability to obtain prior to start date
• Credentialing requirements for Brown University Health Medical Staff

Mansioni

• Assess and treat ED patients under supervision
• Order and interpret diagnostic tests; develop treatment plans
• Perform ED procedures and manage medications and IV access
• Coordinate consults and interdepartmental communications
• Maintain HIPAA compliance and professional standards
