• Graduate of a Nurse Practitioner program approved by the State of Texas and Masters required.
• Licensed to practice professional nursing by the State of Texas; APRN licensure and prescriptive authority eligibility.
• Certified by a recognized national certification in population foci and/or additional specialty recognition; eligibility for DEA licensure.
• Graduate of a nationally accredited Physician Assistant program; Masters strongly preferred; certified by NCQA? not stated; DEA licensure eligibility can apply.

Responsabilidades

• Provides health promotion and the assessment, diagnosis, and management of patient problems; prescribes pharmacologic and non-pharmacologic interventions.
• Operates under delegated supervision and approved protocols, guidelines, and clinical pathways.
• Completes medical records and submits charges in a timely manner; coordinates inpatient/outpatient transitions.
• Collaborates in development and evaluation of patient care; adheres to Memorial Hermann policies and standards.
