Job summary

Memorial Hermann Health System is seeking a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to provide comprehensive patient care across the lifespan. You will assess, diagnose, treat, and follow up, working within approved protocols and alongside an interdisciplinary team.

Required: Texas-approved NP program with Masters, Texas licensure, and prescriptive authority eligibility (or PA certification). Experience of 2+ years is preferred; DEA licensure eligibility is also noted.

Qualifications

• Graduate of a Nurse Practitioner program approved by the State of Texas; Masters degree required.
• Licenses/Certifications: Licensed to practice professional nursing by the State of Texas; APRN with prescriptive authority eligibility; or PA certification by NCCPA.

Responsibilities

• Provides health promotion, assessment, and management of patient problems within an interdisciplinary team.
• Prescriptive authority under delegation of a supervising physician; adheres to protocols and clinical pathways.
• Documents histories, exams, orders, and outcomes; develops patient treatment plans and performs procedures within scope.
• Supports research, education, and professional development; ensures safe, efficient care.
