Job summary

UP Health System in Hancock, MI, part of Lifepoint Health, is seeking an NP/PA to join its Emergency Medicine team. The role supports a Level III trauma center and an annual census around 10,000 patients.

You'll work 12‑hour shifts (12pm–10pm) and collaborate with five ED physicians in a collegial, supportive environment, with access to Meditech Magic and on‑site imaging services.

Qualifications

• ATLS certification required.
• Experience with hospital EMR systems is a plus.
• Knowledge of point‑of‑care ultrasound is beneficial.

Position NP/PA to be considered

• 182, 10-hr shifts: 12pm to 10pm




• Join a collegial and supportive team of 5 employed ED physicians




• ACS-verified Level III trauma center with an average annual census of around 10,000 patients

  • ED physicians provide basic admin orders for hospitalists from 5pm to 7am

  • Digital radiology, point-of-care ultrasound, 24/7 on-site CT, MRI available Mon-Fri, 8am to 5pm

  
  

  • Nurse triage process

  
  

  • Telehealth psychiatrist assistance for psychiatric consultations

  
  

  • 11 beds inclusive of 8 private rooms and 3 trauma bay beds
