Emergency Medicine (APP) – Lifepoint Health®

Join our Emergency Medicine team at UP Health System in Hancock, MI. As a valued member of Lifepoint Health, you will deliver compassionate care with a local heart and access the resources needed to make a meaningful impact.

Position Detail

• 216, 8‑hour night shifts per year (Mon‑Fri, 1 pm to 9 pm)
• Collegial and supportive team of 5 employed ED physicians
• ACS-verified Level III trauma center with an average annual census of about 10,000 patients
• Support systems:
  • ATLS certification
  • ED physicians provide basic admin orders for hospitalists from 5 pm to 7 am
  • Hospital EMR: Meditech Magic
  • Digital radiology, point‑of‑care ultrasound, 24/7 on‑site CT, MRI available Mon‑Fri, 8 am to 5 pm
  • Nurse triage process
  • Telehealth psychiatrist assistance for psychiatric consultations
  • 11 beds inclusive of 8 private rooms and 3 trauma bay beds
