Job summary

The Brigham and Women's Hospital, Inc. is seeking an Administrative Director to provide day-to-day operational and administrative management for the Emergency Departments at BWH and BWFH.

You will execute strategic priorities set by the Emergency Medicine leadership and oversee staff supporting AMC faculty and key initiatives. The role includes payroll oversight for the ACLS Program, chart deficiency processes, and collaboration with hospital leadership to drive efficiency and financial

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 post-graduate years of directly-related, progressively responsible experience, including supervisory experience.
• Graduate degree in business administration, healthcare administration, or public health preferred.
• Experience in academic medicine or large hospital operations a plus.

Responsibilities

• Admin staff management for 10+ staff across AMC faculty support, divisions and initiatives.
• Oversee Senior Operations Manager and ED operations staff and materials team.
• Ensure alignment of department calendars, events, and administrative workflows with hospital goals.
• Lead onboarding/offboarding of Extended Workers and manage payroll oversight and program support.
• Represent the department in committees and collaborate with leadership on strategic initiatives.
• Support ACLS program administration, payroll and program coordination.
• Prepare financial reports and assist in business plan development with leadership.
