Valley Medical Transport in Winchester, VA is seeking an EMT to provide safe, high-quality medical transportation up to the basic life support level per dispatch guidance. This per diem, part-time role supports urgent and non-urgent patient transfers.

We require EMT-B certification in the primary state, a valid driver's license and DOT medical certificate. Additional certifications (AHA CPR/BLS) are required prior to orientation.

Qualifications

• EMT-B certification in primary state required.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Must be 18+ years old and have a valid driver's license.
• DOT medical certificate and periodic drug screenings required.
• AHA BLS and CPR certifications required prior to orientation.
• Current state EMS certification for primary and approved secondary state.

Responsibilities

• Provide safe, high-quality medical transportation up to BLS under dispatch.
• Accurately perform pharmacological calculations when necessary.
• Enter data into an electronic medical record in a timely manner.
• Maintain required licenses and certifications.
