• Operate emergency vehicles, equipment, and communication systems
• Work collaboratively with volunteer fire department personnel
• Perform patient assessments and deliver care within Washington State scope of practice
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of all patient interactions
• Ensure all equipment, vehicles, and supplies are clean, stocked, and ready
• Participate in emergency response scenarios including rescues and evacuations
• Remain calm and effective in high‑stress, fast‑paced situations

What We Are Looking For

• Current Washington State Emergency Medical Technician certification
• Current Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation certification
• Completion of required AIDS training
• Strong decision‑making skills in high‑pressure situations
• Ability to remain calm, focused, and professional during emergencies
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
• Commitment to safety, accuracy, and patient‑centered care

Schedule and Expectations

• On‑call supplemental role with rotating team schedule
• Must be within ten minutes of response area while on‑call
• Availability includes days, evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays
• Must remain fit for duty during on‑call shifts
• Field‑based emergency response
• Exposure to high‑intensity and unpredictable situations
• Collaboration with emergency medical services, fire services, and hospital teams
