Rural Rescue EMS in Scottsburg, Indiana is seeking experienced EMTs to join our responsive team. You will respond to non-emergent and emergent calls, assess patient needs, provide first aid, and document each patient interaction carefully.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Communicate with hospitals, treatment centers, and other EMTs effectively to convey treatment needs after patients leave your care.
• Maintain an inventory of medical supplies on your response vehicle, and resupply as needed.
• Continue to attend training sessions to maintain certification and keep up to date with new medical knowledge.

Job Summary

Rural Rescue EMS is an IFT service that is growing, We are seeking experienced Emergency Medical Technicians (EMT) to join our team! As an EMT, you will be responding to non-emergent and emergent calls, assessing patient needs, and treating as necessary. You will also collect patient information, work closely with dispatch and receiving medical facilities, and create proper documentation for each call you receive. The ideal candidate has an excellent bedside manner, strong critical thinking skills, and works well in high-pressure or stressful situations. You will be expected to be professional with all staff at hospitals and facilities.
