Job summary

Odessa Memorial Health Center is seeking a PRN Emergency Medical Technician to provide emergency care during ambulance runs and on-week on-call rotations in Odessa, WA. The EMT supports other medical staff and must be ready to respond to emergencies at a moment’s notice.

Qualifications

• Current EMT Certification in the state of Washington.
• Current CPR training and certification.
• Documentation of 7 hours AIDS training.

Responsibilities

• Perform basic and/or intermediate life support.
• Demonstrate patient care and safe driving in pre-hospital setting.
• Communicate effectively using medical control systems and EMS equipment.
• Work with volunteer fire department staff and learn various EMS equipment and methods.
• Maintain accurate medical records and reports.
