American Ambulance Service, Inc, a subsidiary of Hartford HealthCare EMS Network, offers licensed EMS services, hospital-based paramedic response, air medical response, education, and research. Our headquarters is in Norwich, CT, with additional offices in Griswold, Ledyard, and Foxwoods Resort Casino. We provide emergent and non-emergent medical transportation by highly trained professionals, ensuring safe, quick, and compassionate care.

The Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) is a vital member of our Operations team. The EMT provides Basic Life Support patient care and transportation, including inter-facility, non-emergency, and emergency calls. The role requires teamwork, communication, and problem-solving skills to deliver high-quality care. EMTs act as ambassadors, interacting with the public, first responder agencies, healthcare providers, hospital staff, and internal departments like dispatch and scheduling.
