Description:

Saint Francis Hospital & Medical Center in Hartford, CT

We are seeking dedicated EMTs who align with our core values to join our team and help us continue providing quality care to our local communities.

You will be responsible for performing specific tasks to ensure effective and efficient patient care during intra-facility transfers.

What you would do:

• Interact professionally with patients, families, hospital staff, the general public, and other public safety agencies, providing exemplary care and customer service at all times.
• Operate and assist in the maintenance of company-owned vehicles safely as required.
• Replenish medical equipment and supplies as needed.

Work Hours/Shift:

• Full-time, 12-hour Night Shifts, with a 36/48 rotating weekly schedule.

Requirements:

• High School Diploma or equivalent; must maintain Continuing Education per local Medical Control Authorities and the state’s Department of Consumer & Industry Services as applicable.
• Licensed as Emergency Medical Responder, EMT-B; current AHA CPR certification; valid Driver's License in good standing in CT; and eligibility for driving privileges based on company policies.
• Ability to think and act calmly and quickly in emergency situations.
