Position Overview

Johnson Memorial Hospital, EMS Stafford Springs, CT

Employment Type: Full time

Shift: 12 Hour Day Shift

Job Responsibilities

• Perform tasks required for effective and efficient care of patients in pre-hospital settings and intra-facility transfers.
• Interact professionally with patients, families, hospital staff, the public, and other safety agencies, providing exemplary care and customer service.
• Safely operate and maintain company vehicles.
• Replenish medical equipment and supplies as needed.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent; ongoing Continuing Education per local Medical Control Authorities and state regulations.
• Licensed as Emergency Medical Responder, EMT-B, with current AHA CPR certification.
• Valid Driver's License in good standing in CT; eligible for driving privileges according to company policies.
• Ability to think and act calmly and quickly in emergencies.
