Saint Francis Hospital & Medical Center - EMS Hartford Site PER DIEM

We are now interviewing for our location at Saint Francis Hospital & Medical Center in Hartford, CT. We are looking for dedicated EMTs who embrace our core values to join our team and help us continue providing quality care to our communities.

You will be responsible for performing specific tasks necessary for the effective and efficient care of patients during intra-facility transfers.

What you would do:

• Interact professionally with patients, families, hospital staff, the general public, and other public safety agencies, providing exemplary care and customer service at all times.
• Safely operate and assist in maintaining company-owned vehicles as required.
• Replenish medical equipment and supplies as needed.

Work Hours/Shift:

• Per Diem, 12-hour shifts.

Requirements:

• High School Diploma or equivalent. Must maintain Continuing Education as required by local Medical Control Authorities and the state’s Department of Consumer & Industry Services.
• Licensed as Emergency Medical Responder (EMT-B). Current AHA CPR certification. Valid Driver's License in good standing in CT and eligibility for driving privileges per company policies.
• Ability to think and act calmly and quickly in emergency situations.
