The EMT is on the team that is first to respond to emergency calls for medical assistance at the Bell County Jail in Belton, TX. The responder assesses the situation, obtains basic medical history and performs a physical examination of the patient, and provides emergency care at the site as well as during transit to the hospital.
Other Duties: Perform other duties as required or assigned that are reasonably within the scope of the duties in the job classification and/or position description.
High School equivalent education completed plus 1 year minimum of related experience. Must have an active EMT-Basic certification as well as active CPR certification.
