Job summary

Priority Ondemand is seeking an EMT-R to support EMTs and Paramedics in daily operations in Macon, GA. The role includes ambulance driving, CPR, documentation, HIPAA compliance, and following SOPs; training is provided.

The successful candidate will have Georgia EMT-R certification, 18+ years, GED or high school diploma, and a valid driver's license. This on-site position requires readiness and professional conduct.

Qualifications

• State EMT-R Certification required.
• Must be 18 years or older.
• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Basic Life Support Certification provided during training.
• Completion of documented training, including 5‑day orientation.
• Background, MVR & drug screen required.
• Current State of Georgia Driver's License.

Responsibilities

• Respond to all calls from the Central EMS communications center.
• Maintain a valid driver’s license and escort EMTs and patients per SOP.
• Clean and check ambulance and equipment daily; report deficiencies.
• Complete required reports (exposure, incident, unit checks).
• Uphold EMS policies; report any deficiencies to supervision.
• Ensure vehicle complies with Georgia laws and regulations.
• Attend mandatory meetings and stay ready for duty.
