Job summary

Responsibilities

• Receive calls involving illness, injury, and other medical emergencies.
• Confirm patient location, callback number, and access details.
• Ask approved questions about patient condition to determine priority.
• Determine response priority using authorized medical dispatch system.
• Coordinate ambulance resources as assigned.
• Provide protocol-based instructions to callers.
• Relay patient information and scene hazards to responders.
• Document call processing and participate in quality-review activities.
