Qualifications

• High school diploma or G.E.D. from an accredited institution.
• 2 years of job-related experience.
• Proficient in use of computer and Microsoft Office Applications.
• Knowledge of functions, procedures and practices of school safety and emergency center operations.
• Ability to work well under pressure and meet timelines.

Responsibilities

• Performs administrative duties for the Emergency Management Lieutenant, including scheduling appointments and answering phones.
• Maintains calendar and other typical clerical duties.
• Organizes set-up for training sessions and assists with events.
• Assists in proofreading and formatting emergency plans and website maintenance.
• Tracks support tickets for district-wide Emergency Management software applications.
