Qualifications

• Six years of experience in public safety or emergency management.
• At least one year of supervisory experience; up to four years may be substituted with equivalent education.
• Must obtain basic and advanced PA Emergency Management Agency certifications within three years of hire.

Responsibilities

• Directs operations, organization, and preparedness of the County Emergency Management Agency.
• Ensures that the Agency discharges all required duties during peacetime and disasters.
• Maintains Agency compliance with all applicable laws and guidelines.
