Qualifications

• Enrolled full-time in a relevant bachelor’s or post-bachelor’s program.
• Must have completed 30 credit hours toward current degree program.
• Overall GPA of at least 2.0 out of 4.0, or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Implements activities related to emergency preparedness, prevention, mitigation, response, and recovery planning.
• Assists with MoDOT EOC procedures, training, and coordination among incident management personnel.
• Monitors transportation and infrastructure emergency management issues, including security, medical, and weather-related issues.
• Ensures communications systems, equipment, and processes are maintained.
• Assists with monthly emergency communications testing and reporting, including radio systems and satellite communications.
• Performs other responsibilities as required or assigned.
