Job summary

Regional 911 Intake Solutions in Point Pleasant, NJ seeks Police/Fire/EMS Dispatchers to coordinate emergency responses across law enforcement, fire services, and EMS. In a combined communications environment, you will process calls and assign radio resources for multiple disciplines.

You must communicate clearly, adapt to changing priorities, and follow established protocols while working within authority bands. Overtime, night and weekend scheduling may be required as part of rotating shifts.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Public safety credentials may be required depending on assignment.

Responsibilities

• Process requests involving police, fire, rescue, and medical assistance
• Verify locations, incident details, and hazards
• Prioritize and route calls using approved procedures
• Dispatch units according to response plans
• Coordinate incidents needing multiple services

• Maintain incident records and assist interagency communications
