Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• DCI operator certification preferred.
• Telecommunicator certification required or obtainable.
• Experience with emergency communications is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Assess and coordinate emergency and non-emergency response activities by evaluating reported situations and deploying resources.
• Support operations involving officer safety and emergency missions.
• Receive, process, and prioritize information from the public, law enforcement, and agencies to manage communications.
• Identify risks to responding units using CIIS and other safety systems.
• Operate CAD, radio, and mapping tools to ensure accurate information flow.
