Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Operate computer consoles, video monitoring equipment and other communication devices to receive requests for assistance and dispatch personnel.
• Receive 911 calls, monitor alarms, determine emergency type/severity and alert authorities.
• Maintain accurate records and enter information into computer systems for transcripts and reports.
• Coordinate field officers with superiors and local authorities during emergencies.
• Prepare incident reports and submit statistics to relevant agencies.
• Dispatch full-time officers and manage communications via radio.
• Maintain paperwork related to incident numbers and logs.
