Qualifications

• Maintain composure and communicate clearly under high-stress conditions.
• Proficiency with computer-aided dispatch (CAD) systems and radio protocols.

Responsibilities

• Answer and process 911 emergency and non-emergency calls, determining urgency.
• Gather critical information and relay to appropriate responders.
• Provide pre-arrival life-saving instructions to callers as needed.
• Assign and dispatch law enforcement, fire, and EMS based on priority.
• Maintain detailed call logs, reports, and incident documentation.
• Coordinate large-scale emergency response efforts during disasters or severe weather.
