Job summary

Cherry Creek School District is seeking a dispatcher for emergency and non-emergency coordination. You will receive calls, determine response requirements, and dispatch personnel while relaying critical information to district sites and external agencies.

The role requires high school diploma or equivalent, experience in dispatch or security, and proficiency with Microsoft Office. You will work in a high-stress environment with confidential information and strict safety considerations.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Dispatch, call center, security, law enforcement, or military experience is preferred.
• Must meet insurability requirements of the Colorado School District Self-Insurance Pool.
• Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office and various software applications.
• Basic knowledge of GPS-Based AVL systems and radio procedures.

Responsibilities

• Receive incoming calls regarding emergency and non-emergency situations and determine required response.
• Dispatch to appropriate personnel and relay critical information to sites and agencies.
• Enter, update, and retrieve information using computerized systems and GPS data.
• Monitor multiple systems and communicate with internal and external stakeholders.
• Maintain confidentiality and follow safety and district protocols.
