Cherry Creek School District seeks a dispatcher to handle emergency and non-emergency calls, determine response requirements, and dispatch personnel to incidents. The role involves entering and retrieving data, communicating with district sites and external agencies, and monitoring ongoing events.

The position requires strong multi-tasking, excellent communication, and the ability to work in a high-stress environment. Relevant experience and a high school diploma are required.

Competenze

• Minimum of a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience in dispatch, call center, security, law enforcement, or military settings is preferred.
• Ability to operate base radio and communicate clearly under pressure.
• Knowledge of GPS-based location systems is a plus.

Mansioni

• Receive incoming telephone and/or radio calls regarding emergency and non-emergency situations.
• Interrogate requestors to obtain detailed information to determine necessary response.
• Dispatch appropriate personnel per protocol and track status.
• Enter, update, and retrieve information using computerized data and telephone systems.
• Relay critical information to District sites, personnel, and external agencies.
• Monitor incidents and coordinate with drivers and staff on-route decisions.
• Record and track information such as GPS data, requests, and dispatches.
• Maintain access to and security of highly sensitive materials.
• Perform other related duties as assigned or requested.
