Job summary

Qualifications

• Citizen of the United States or valid work permit
• Eighteen years of age or older at appointment
• Education requirements determined by position classification
• Pre-employment drug guidelines apply

Responsibilities

• Dispatch police units by radio according to priorities
• Answer emergency and non-emergency calls and route to proper agency
• Maintain mobile unit status and locations using CAD and mapping systems
• Provide criminal history and vehicle information as needed
• Operate radio systems and related software to coordinate responses
