ICF is offering a 10-week summer internship in Emergency and Disaster Management, rotating through Preparedness & Insurance, Emergency & Disaster Operations, and Disaster Recovery. Interns gain exposure across the lifecycle, with a hybrid option from Baton Rouge, LA or Tallahassee, FL, or remote from any U.S. location.

Basic qualifications include 30+ credit hours in related fields and U.S. citizenship for federal contracts.

Qualifications

• At least 30 credit hours in EM, homeland security, public administration, political science, public health, or related field.
• U.S. Citizenship is required per Federal contracts.
• Preferred familiarity with disaster lifecycle and EM concepts; IS 100/IS 700 coursework.

Responsibilities

• Rotate through Preparedness, Emergency Operations, and Disaster Recovery service lines.
• Assist with planning, operations, and recovery tasks during rotations.
