Job summary

ICF offers a summer internship in Emergency and Disaster Management, rotating interns through three service lines: Preparedness and Insurance, Emergency and Disaster Operations, and Disaster Recovery. The 10-week, full-time program runs early June to early August and may be performed hybrid from Baton Rouge, LA or Tallahassee, FL, or remotely from any U.S.

location, with no relocation or housing assistance provided.

Qualifications

• By start date at least 30 credit hours in emergency management, homeland security, public administration, political science, public health or a related field
• U.S. Citizenship is required per Federal contracts

Responsibilities

• Rotate through Preparedness and Insurance, Emergency and Disaster Operations, and Disaster Recovery
• Assist with project tasks across planning, operations, and recovery
• Learn IS 100 and IS 700 and incident command concepts
• Support documentation, data collection and reporting during the rotation
