Job summary

Saint Alphonsus Regional Medical Center in Boise is seeking an Emergency Department Technician for the Boise Emergency Department. The role requires a self-driven learner who thrives in a fast-paced trauma setting and works well with a team.

Schedule: Three nights per week from 7:00pm to 7:30am, with flexibility for weekdays, weekends and holidays. This full-time ED Tech position provides opportunities for growth in emergency care.

Qualifications

• CNA in Idaho and/or EMT/Paramedic certification required.
• BLS for Healthcare Providers certification required at hire unless ACLS/PALS already held per SAHS crosswalk.
• Six months of CNA or EMT experience preferred.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.

Responsibilities

• Support clinical staff as CNA under RN supervision.
• Collect blood samples and correctly identify patients; transport specimens.
• Handle related clerical, receptionist and patient service coordination.
