Qualifications

• Education: High school diploma or equivalent required; vocational/technical diploma preferred.
• CAN or matriculating nursing student with clinical rotation preferred.
• BLS from the American Heart Association required.
• EMT or EMPT preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assists with delivering quality care under RN supervision.
• Documents interventions and patient outcomes in medical records.
• Transports patients and supports ED staff in patient care activities.
• Promotes infection control and maintains patient safety.
• Assists with daily living activities and basic nursing tasks.
• Participates in quality monitoring and unit activities.
• Performs phlebotomy and supports patient assessments as directed by RN.
