Job summary

Lexington Health Northeast Emergency Department is seeking an ED Technician for a full-time night shift (7:00pm - 7:00am) at a new location opening Spring 2027. The role involves direct patient care, order entry support, and liaison duties across nursing, physicians, and staff.

A $2,500 sign-on bonus is offered; Basic Life Support and CPI training are required within 90 days of hire. Minimum education is a high school diploma with at least 1 year of patient care experience in an acute care

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent required.
• 1 year patient care experience in an acute care setting preferred.
• Basic knowledge of computer skills and medical terminology.

Responsibilities

• Assist nurses and physicians with treatments and examinations.
• Prepare rooms and equipment for patients and ensure cleanliness.
• Document in medical records and assist with admissions, transfers, and discharges.
