Job summary

UNC Lenoir Health Care’s Emergency Department in Kinston, NC is seeking a NA II to provide direct patient care in the ED under licensed nursing staff supervision. You will perform EKGs and phlebotomy as needed within your scope.

The role requires a high school diploma or equivalent, completion of NC Board of Nursing approved NA II course, and BLS certification. Night shifts, 36 hours per week, onsite with salary range listed.

Qualifications

• High school graduate or equivalent.
• Completes the EKG and phlebotomy on the job training.
• Two years of health care experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provides patient care in the ED as delegated by the Licensed Nursing Staff.
• Performs EKGs and phlebotomy as needed in the department within the scope of the NA II.
