Job summary

Qualifications

• High school graduate; NC Board of Nursing NA II course; on‑the‑job EKG and phlebotomy training.
• Two years of health care experience preferred.
• Certified by the NC State Board of Nursing as NA II; BLS certification.
• Good interpersonal, communication, and observation skills; understands patient care needs across age groups.

Responsibilities

• Provides direct ED patient care as delegated by Licensed Nursing Staff.
• Performs EKGs and phlebotomy as needed in the department.
• Maintains a positive image of the department through professional interactions.
