Job summary

Mercy is seeking a Registered Nurse for the Regional Float Pool, providing expert nursing care across multiple hospital settings in the St. Louis region. The role emphasizes flexibility, cross-facility collaboration, and ongoing professional development.

Applicants must have an accredited RN program degree, active RN license, and at least 3 years of Emergency Department experience. BSN is preferred, with required certifications due within 90 days of hire.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited registered professional nursing program.
• Licensure: current RN license in the hiring state and/or compact licensure.
• REQUIRED Experience: Minimum 3 years Emergency Department RN experience; six months of this in the last year.
• Certifications (Must have to start): BLS; ACLS, NIH, PALS, TNCC, ENPC, MANDT within 90 days of hire.
• Physical Requirements/Demands: Stand/walk most of the time; lifting and turning patients with assistance; push/pull up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Assess, plan, implement and evaluate individualized nursing care.
• Provide care across Mercy’s Regional Float Pool at multiple hospitals.
• Collaborate with diverse care teams and patient populations.
