Job summary

Lutheran Hospital Emergency Department is hiring a Registered Nurse for full-time, 0.9 FTE (36 hours/week). Shift is 1p–1a in a Level 2 Trauma Center with a welcome bonus eligible up to $35,000.

The RN will provide patient-centered care, administer medications, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure high-quality outcomes. Candidates should have 0–2 years of bedside nursing experience in acute care, strong assessment skills, and knowledge of infection control and safety

Qualifications

• 0–2 years of clinical nursing experience in an acute care setting required.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient-centered emergency care using the nursing process.
• Administer prescribed medications and monitor effects.
• Collaborate with the care team to implement and adjust care plans.
• Respond to emergencies and participate in life-saving interventions (CPR, code team).
• Document care and education thoroughly in the medical record.
