Baptist Health in Prattville, AL, is seeking a Patient Care Technician to join the Emergency Department team. The PCT will assist RNs, LPNs and physicians with routine patient care and non-complex tasks within scope of practice.

Required: high school diploma or equivalent; completion of a certified Nursing Assistant program (HOSA-preferred); and BLS certification. The role involves exposure to clinical settings, mobility tasks and shift work including third shift.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Graduate from a certified Nursing Assistant program preferred.
• Completion of first clinical rotation or 1 year of patient care experience preferred.

Responsabilités

• Assist RNs, LPNs, and physicians in routine patient care.
• Support basic activities of daily living and vitals collection.
