Job summary

Baptist Health, the leading healthcare system in central Alabama, seeks a Patient Care Technician for the Emergency Department at Baptist Medical Center South. The PCT will support the care team in routine duties and patient comfort, assisting RNs, LPNs, and physicians as needed.

Requirements include a high school diploma and BLS certification; Nursing Assistant or HOSA background is preferred. This is a regular part-time, third-shift position with opportunities to grow within the hospital.

Qualifications

• High School graduate or equivalent required.
• Graduate from a certified Nursing Assistant Program or a Health Occupations Program preferred.
• Completion of first clinical rotation or 1 year patient care experience preferred.
• BLS required.

Responsibilities

• Assist in routine and non-complex aspects of patient care.
