Job summary

Baptist Health is seeking a Patient Care Technician for the night shift at Baptist Medical Center East in Alabama. The PCT will support RNs, LPNs and physicians with routine patient care, activities of daily living, vital signs and safety tasks.

Qualified candidates have a high school diploma or GED; CNA or Health Occupations program is preferred. BLS is required, with strong communication skills and physical ability to assist with lifting and mobility on site.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Completion of CNA or Health Occupations program preferred.
• First clinical rotation or 1 year of patient care experience preferred.
• BLS certification required.

Responsibilities

• Assist RNs, LPNs, and physicians in routine patient care.
• Support activities of daily living and basic comfort measures.
• Monitor vital signs and communicate changes to the care team.
• Maintain safety and comfort, assist with mobility and daily tasks.
