Job summary

UCHealth UCHth Parkview Medical Center in Pueblo, CO is seeking an experienced Emergency Department RN. The role emphasizes leadership in patient safety, quality outcomes, and unit operations, with a focus on high-acuity trauma and critical care nursing.

This onsite, full-time position offers 72 hours per pay period. Eligible candidates must hold a BSN, Colorado RN licensure, ACLS, PALS, TNCC/ATCN or ENPC, and NIHSS within 6 months; BLS on hire.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of ED RN experience preferred.
• BSN required.
• Colorado RN license required.
• ACLS; PALS; TNCC/ATCN or ENPC; NIHSS within 6 months.
• BLS required before start date.

Responsibilities

• Assist Nurse Manager with staff evaluation.
• Develop and evaluate standards of care.
• Mentor and coach staff, ensure effective communication.
• Coordinate resources and patient throughput.
• Support development and implementation of care protocols.
