Job summary

UCHealth is seeking a Part Time RN Charge Nurse for the UCHlth Broomfield Hospital in Colorado. The role is nights, onsite only, with 48 hours per pay period. The incumbent will provide top of scope emergency nursing care and supervise clinical staff in a fast-paced ED setting.

Required are a BSN, RN licensure, 1 year of nursing experience, and trauma/emergency certifications (TNCC/ATCN/ENPC, PALS, ACLS, BLS). Competitive pay and comprehensive benefits are offered.

Qualifications

• Must hold a Registered Nurse license.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing required within three years of assuming the Charge RN position.
• Several trauma and emergency nursing certifications are required.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care at Emergency Department level, up to level 1 trauma.
• Model proficient nursing care and mentor new staff.
• Participate in evidence-based practice and patient safety initiatives.
