Job summary

111 Lexington Medical Center is seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant for the Emergency Department to cover night shifts. The role involves admission clerical duties, patient records, and confidential information handling, with supervision from a registered nurse.

Requirements include CNA certification and BCLS/CPR. High school diploma or equivalent is required; clinical experience is preferred. Benefits eligible; 36 hours/week with nights 7p-7a on an every-other-weekend schedule.

Qualifications

• CNA required with BCLS/CPR.

Responsibilities

• Completes clerical duties for patient admissions and medical records.
• Ensures confidential, accurate, timely communication of patient information.
• Handles and screens calls and transmits messages.
• Communicates effectively with team, patients and families.
• Contributes to a safe and therapeutic environment by following procedures.
• Works calmly under stress.
• Performs NA1+4 skills under the NA-1 Enhancer Program.
• Assists with personal care under RN supervision.
• Completes unit duties and supports staff as needed.
